Microwave-Assisted One Pot Three-Component Synthesis of Novel Bioactive Thiazolyl-Pyridazinediones as Potential Antimicrobial Agents against Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria

Pyridazine and thiazole derivatives have various biological activities such as antimicrobial, analgesic, anticancer, anticonvulsant, antitubercular other anticipated properties. Chitosan can be used heterogeneous phase transfer basic biocatalyst in heterocyclic syntheses. Novel 1-thiazolyl-pyridazinedione were prepared via multicomponent synthesis under microwave irradiation ecofriendly energy source using the eco-friendly naturally occurring chitosan catalyst with high/efficient yields short reaction time. All compounds fully characterized by spectroscopic methods, their vitro investigated. The obtained results compared those of standard antibacterial/antifungal agents. DFT calculations molecular docking studies to investigate electronic properties interactions specific microbial receptors.
